I understood the horse was one of the first methods to transfer people and consequently information quickly from one place to another. Today’s messenger is electronic and the circuit boards in this piece is bridging history and meaning with this running horse herd.

Escaping my sweet university computer gig, despite a new baby and secure income to become an artist was not the best laid plan initially! It took a few decades to earn a decent living but I never wavered from my passion and like the fox escaping the pack I may never have achieved the satisfaction of the “examined” artist life! To be candid I think I have always felt like the maverick fox running against herd!
